How Much For A Domain Name?

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

How much would you pay for a domain name? We are tracking one down that means something personal to us. The holder offered the domain to us for £15,000 originally and we have been working with them to get to a more realistic value for some time. If we can get this website for the right price we will simply purchase and hold it for some marketing later on in the year but without it our plans can still move forward. The problem these days is finding a decent domian name – one that is relevant, catchy to your business and off course short enough to print onto the smallest promotional items.

Umbrellas For April Shows

Sunday, March 8th, 2009

April showers – we love’em because it means sales of our promotional umbrellas go literally through the roof. No seriously umbrellas are one of those promotional products that get clients noticed and their branding across. So what ensures a successful umbrella promotion? Well first thing to do is choose an umbrella product that meets your budget. This is relatively easy because most umbrellas can be grouped into sports, walking, automatic, gents and female. The most popular type of umbrella gift is the golf umbrella off course because it offers such a large canopy. Next think about your branding. Most umbrellas have eight panels and it is possible to print on just one or all of these and even to have alternate message. There are other customisations that you can do in terms of the handles and shafts but most clients pick a brolly, choose the colours and off they go to print. Job done. Off course there are some new alternatives such as the Quadbrella and Twinbrella – double sized and large, and more suited to corporate events and promotions.

Everyone Loves A Free Pen

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

What is it about promotional pens that makes them so collectable? For me printed pens are one of the best promotional ideas you can use because everyone writes (well almost nearly everyone) and so a pen is useful inside and outside work. How many of us keep a pen to hand almost without thinking. Now the trick is to pick a pen that will really promote your brand and as one of the largest suppliers in the UK we offer quite a range. My top tips are to make sure your imprint area and the logo and text you want printed within it are equally matched. Sometimes less is more, so make sure everything is visible. Also remember that your background material and colour – from the pen itself – can affect how your imprint will appear. If in doubt ask for a sample and make a print to scale on a piece of paper to stick on and test. Promotional pencils are also another great idea – especially within office and engineering environments.

Branded Stationery

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

We have just been updated our promotional stationery products – yes it is that time of year. This is one of the best collections we offer for clients looking for a range of desktop giveaways. Stationery are must have items in an office and ones that few people really give any though to. What a missed opportunity to have your brand and imprint on dispay 365 days a year in a form of subliminal advertising that always gets results. So what sort of promotional products are we talking here – well they range from everything from adloops to wallets. A personal favourite of mine are the paper pads as they offer such a wide choice.
